Ok, so if you know me well, you know that I talk to myself. Who doesn't? Come on, admit it, you do too. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been talking to myself all my life. No I'm not crazy, and no I don't have an imaginary friend either, I just talk to myself. Just because I like to. Well for one thing, I want to be an actress, so oftentimes I'm randomly saying movie lines or imitating characters. Most of the time I'm just thinking out loud, talking or (rarely) shouting or crying about my life and what happens in it. And of course sometimes there's singing thrown in there in the midst of my talking. I consider this a healthy habit of mine, because it allows me to get my thoughts out without pestering and driving away the few friends I have. They have enough of my talking, so I just let the rest out on myself. I saw a question on Yahoo Answers from a Mom who had an 11 year old daughter who talked to herself. She basically was asking what was wrong with her daughter. People started telling her to take her daughter to a psychologist or doctor and one person said something like; "She may have a learning disability like Asperger's or something." Ha! I must have a serious case of Asperger's! More than likely the girl simply wanted to get her thoughts out or may want to be an actress or something. Maybe it sounds silly to some people, but there is nothing wrong with talking to yourself occasionally! Of course, I don't talk to myself in front of other people, because it's like I have no reason to, that would just be a little silly! Well anyway, in typing this I'm talking to myself because no one is even reading my blog yet! But hopefully that will change soon, and maybe by then I'll have something better to write about. :) On another note, the little dolls you see above on my banner are DanDan and Dréa. ;) I put them together on the Lunaii dollmaker. They are not my artwork, I simply put them together. Here is the link to the Lunaii Dollmaker. Try it out sometime if you like, I love putting dolls together that look like my friends and family. :)
Much love,
Dréa ♥
